Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty is a procedure to remove fat, usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. The surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes, features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even be interfering with your vision.
Blepharoplasty can be done alone or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures. While it can add an upper eyelid crease to Asian eyes, it does not erase evidence of ethnic heritage; remove crow’s feet, wrinkles or dark circles; or lift sagging eyebrows.
The surgery can enhance your appearance and self-confidence, and give you a more alert and youthful look that will last for years.
